The Shall We Dance project was introduced to our members by Ann Horton and Joyce Paterson at our November 2003 meeting.  We were asked to choose a style of dance and then to create a design for a quilt.  The size was set at 40" by 50" and the dance would be represented by two figures.

This was the third group project to be sent to the Ultimate Guild Challenge at the AQS show in Nashville in August.  Because of the limit in number of quilts, just eight of these beautiful dancers were entered in the show.  We were delighted that our hard work paid off and we won the Grand Prize in 2004.

These quilts will become available as a special exhibit.  If you are interested in showing them, please contact us.  The * denotes quilts that were not sent to AQS, but are part of the Shall We Dance project.
